Animal Abatement Specialists has been to my home in the past to remove an opossum. When they did come out the opossum was no where to be seen but told me of a rat Infestation. They did however place a cage to catch the opossum if it did return. They then preceded to completely seal off all entrances for the rats while having an exit way for rats to exit but not return. This sealing off of all the entrances took a full day. To complete this job took a number of visits to make sure the rats had left. They were very thorough. Recently, I thought that the rats had returned after over one year. They came out to my home and checked everywhere and secured the area around Garage door that we had removed. I would definitely recommend Animal Abatement Specialists because of their thoroughness in taking care of any animal problem. - Connie E.

Had a dead deer in the yard that needed to be removed. Checked around for quotes... the price from AAS was VERY reasonable. They said they could come out within an hour and a half... and showed up AHEAD of that. They were really personable and conscientious, got the job done quickly and with no headache, and took the time to explain how to speed up dissipation of the remaining smell in the soil. All in all, an excellent experience... something that seems all too rare these days!

On the Saturday afternoon after the 4th of July, we heard a lot of squawking from our crawl space. Even though I knew not many companies would be open the Saturday after a Holiday, I put in some calls to abatement companies and hoped I would get some callbacks on Monday.

To my surprise Animal Abatement Specialists called back a short time later and a short time after that, was onsite evaluating the issue. We walked the property and it became apparent we would need access to a neighboring property to rectify the issue. I secured access on Sunday, they set the trap Monday, and he caught one critter on Tuesday and the remaining three critters on Wednesday. They sealed the access points and just like that the job was completed, literally before some other companies even called me back!

They are easy to talk to and took time to answer my questions and address my concerns. Their pricing seems very reasonable. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks!

We had a mother raccoon and her babies move into our crawl space. I called Animal Abatement Specialist and got them on the first try (probably just luck, but I never had to leave a voicemail). The tech was awesome from start to finish. They truly are expert and willing to share knowledge.

Took about three days for the family to be rounded up and released in a humane manner. During that time they came out a few more times to assess the situation and make adjustments to the trapping strategy.

Money well spent. Would be happy to hire them again!

Pest Control doesn't deal with nuisance wildlife, as I found out living in the East Hills .I have encountered snakes,OMG!!!! Called in the morning and the tech was here, with a helper, in the afternoon. We smelled a dead animal and he confirmed the presence of rats in our attic crawl space and on the roof, though the dead rat was not discoverable. They inspected the entire house inside and out, located the entry points, and sealed all but one. The one entry point he didn't seal, he installed and "exit only" door. He was responsive, knowledgeable and polite. Couldn't be happier with his service.

OMG!

How nice was it to come home from work and not smell the stench of death looming in the house? Oh let me count the ways....

First off, we had a dead cat that decided to die under our house. Not close to the access area either.... all of the length of the house 50 feet away. Good lord.

This was a feral cat that we had befriended over the last 3 years and actually got him pretty tame. A month ago he showed up with a horrible paw laceration, then a week later, two on his neck. It was downhill from there, as we watched our Volunteer Friend slowly take a turn for the worse and started basically dying.

Did he choose to take his last breath in the nice, soft little bed we had for him right outside our sliding glass door, where he spent the last month, obviously feeling like crap? Nope, under the house he went, as animals tend to do when they know it's their time.

ANYWAY, my husband called Animal Abatement Specialists in the morning, and when I texted him "did you call the guy yet?" he said "yes! and he'll be out in about 3 hours!".

Yanno, they say "it's the little things" that count, and boy did it. I was SO excited that I almost shrieked with joy at work. But contained myself and went on with my day at my Very Stuffy Professional Establishment (i.e., zzzZZzzZzzz).

When I got home, They had already come and gone, and collected the decaying, maggot infested carcass from under the house with nary a hitch!

If I could offer up payment AND MY FIRST BORN, I would have, but my first born is pretty cool, so not this time.

Just want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart, and praise the sweet lord baby Jayzus for AAS and their super quick and FANTASTIC company and service. WORTH EVERY FREAKING PENNY AND THEN SOME.

Very impressed with the tech. We had some weird smell from under our deck and called them up. They showed up in few hours the same day (saturday).We assumed it was a rat but it turned out to be a possum. The tech was highly professional in how he retrieved the dead animal and how he disposed it. There was absolutely no damage to the deck and the price was very reasonable.

Refused the gig.

He insisted that he would need to put his ladder on the aluminum gutter and when I asked that he be careful not to damage the gutter with his heavy ladder, he said it wouldn't be worth the risk and did not want the job.

I appreciate the honesty (I really did) A business is in the business of solving problems (like critters in the attic) shouldn't be causing other problems like damage to roof tiles or gutters.

Two stars since he was honest. I actually felt better that he didn't take the job.

I've done thousands of these and approach confidently. So when I told you my approach and you said I would bend the gutter and break the tiles i figured you knew something about the materials I didn't. I thoughtfully considered what you said and reluctantly took your word for it. As I said that day, if one of those happened it would have cost more to fix than the paltry sum I quoted for the work. Even though I really wanted the job, there was no wiggle room.

We had a family of raccoons living in and around our property. We have a large beautiful backyard with a pool, fish pond and hot tub. I was finding raccoon skat near the pool and actually saw racoons on top of our hot tub cover. We heard about Animal Abatement Specialists through friends who were very happy. The owner came and looked around our property to survey the situation. He was very careful when he climbed our roof to look for attic infiltration. My children were very concerned about what he did and how he did it. He was very kind to them. He ended up putting a humane trap near our hot tub and each morning I would look outside. After three days there was a raccoon in the trap. Then over the next 4 days we trapped 3 more. Each time he would come out, gently remove the raccoon from the trap, and then remove it from our property. My wife and children were very happy with the way in which everything was done.

His price seemed very good. We did not get other estimates because of our friends' high praise so I don't know how they compare price wise. I just know we were very happy with the excellent service. We have since recommended him to other friends who need animals removed.

Over the past several years we have heard scratching noises in the crawlspace under our house and both local and national exterminator chains have not been able to do anything about it.

For their base fee, they spent almost 2 hours looking over every inch of our house and finally found a burrow under the foundation that looked rat-sized -- and this was after we had concreted in as much as we could around the foundation.

They said that it would be more cost-effective for us to set my own rat traps which I did. I also bought an infrared trail camera and lo and behold, after about a week of consistently catching rats, a pair of raccoons showed up to, er, help empty the rat traps for us.

They came out again and I asked them to set up a pair of raccoon traps even though they usually set one at a time. We caught one last night.

All the fees were laid out in advance in writing, and while expensive, you DO get what you pay for, so I am a happy camper.

Outstanding service and quality!! We had a squirrel in our house and called a bunch of pest control place; only Animal Abatement Specialists was willing to make room in their schedule for us. They came out within a matter of hours, got the squirrel out with a net (everyone else would have killed it) and then came back the next day to crawl all over our roof and cover all possible entry paths. We've used their services as needed since 2007 to control the skunk population that keeps us hostage in the house (or sprays the dogs, whichever comes first). They spends unrushed time educating us on the critters themselves, finding the paths they use, how they're getting into the yard, and what we can do to keep them at bay. They are quick to respond when we see the trap has an occupant. Its worth every penny to have my yard skunk free. When they leave with the last trap, I wonder to myself why it took me so long to call. I highly recommend them.

When it comes to removing dead animal carcass, I will look no further and will continue to get reliable and prompt service from Animal Abatement Specialist. Their service is fast, fair and cost effective.

Since I moved to San Jose, I had been encountered twice with unfortunate incidents involving dead animal carcasses:

1. Found black cat carcass by the front porch of my newly bought San Jose home prior to moving in. I was in hurry to get the removal because that time I was living in San Francisco and only visited the new home. City of San Jose animal service was too incompetent and inefficient to respond. I am glad that I found Animal Abatement Specialist service. They very prompt, no-nonsense and reliable enough to perform the task within very short window of time so I can rush back home to San Francisco in a timely manner.

2. Two (2) nights ago, my neighbor discovered a dead coyote that got hit by a car in front of our houses. It is devastating to learn that many irresponsible people with no decency drive fast in residential community by the park with children, pets and nature living in harmony. A community across the park / nature at its border is expected to run with wildlife once in a while. I recommended Animal Abatement Specialist to my neighbor and even offered her to pay half the service despite I wasn't the one discovered the dead coyote in the first place. However, my neighbor for unreasonable practice still decided to go after the City San Jose service that is unreliable and incompetent because it is free- yeah right - free because of bullshit service. After 2 days, online report and repeated follow up calls, the City San Jose service still did not attend to the matter - while we, the residents had to persevere with disgusting looking big decomposing coyote body being fed by hungry vultures and crows and horrible smell. This is such a health /bio hazard and chance for disease to spread in residence area that can affect community well being. God knows what disease is associated with that dead coyote. The City of San Jose service treats this as nothing and wants the community to take the risk. No way!!!! Therefore I decided not to take the crap from the ignorant neighbor and not to put up with the incompetency of City San Jose service. I immediately ordered Animal Abatement Specialist service and within less than an hour after my service order, the dead coyote body that imposing health hazard to the community was removed.

I sincerely think anybody with the brain and common sense would get the service from Animal Abatement Specialist without hesitation. Never compromise your health and well being by trying to save small portion of cost and put up with any ignorant and incompetent party. It is our responsibility to be pro active to mitigate any health risk exposure to us and community. If only everyone can use their brain and common sense in their everyday practice......world would be such a clean and better place to live in.

We had a deceased animal in our bathroom vent. We called them and they told me estimated cost, and the time he will come. He called and advised me that he is on the way.

Extracted the animal, even put in chicken wire in the roof vent so this won't happen again. Price was very reasonable.

I Called on Memorial Day, to come to the house to get a Possum that was actually sleeping on top of our chicken coup. Fantastic service.
I had a pair of birds stuck in our dryer vent.
It was a spontaneously 90 degree day and they were screaming.

I needed help because one was stuck in a crevice where the dryer pipe runs through.

I called them and they were able to come over within an hour and help right away. He chugged through traffic to get here. He had all the tools necessary (ladder, mesh). He helped us get the bird out, and then even made a preventative measure so it doesn't happen again. He installed a mesh for us on the outside.

Very knowledgeable and friendly.

The price was alright too, certainly very affordable and reasonable.

I sure hope I don't have more pest/animal issues but I will definitely call animal abatement specialists if I do.

After hearing strange noises indicating a small animal was stuck in our chimney, we called several animal control, wildlife trapping, and pest control companies with no success--it was ridiculous. Everyone said they either had to see the animal to help it, couldn't do this type of job, or were way too busy to help, except for one-- Animal Abatement Specialists was our life savor! They discovered a crow injured and fluttering around in our chimney and worked persistently to successfully remove it and set it back into the sky! What an awesome guy! I would definitely call them again in any pest or wildlife-related emergency (don't even bother with humane societies if you can't see the animal!) 5 stars for Animal Abatement Specialists!

Most animal removal companies only wanted to deal with live animal trapping and the ones that could take care of both asked for a ridiculous amount.

Really glad we found Animal Abatement Specialists as they are reasonable and came out the same day to check out our situation. It took 20 minutes to inspect the house and find the possum, after which time they walked the perimeter and taught me how to deal with the separate vent issue. They were very knowledgeable, answered a ton of questions, shared a ton of stories, and I appreciated that they didn't try to over sell me on unnecessary services.

I have called several times over the years. Most recently, I had just finished landscaping the back yard and it didn't take long before the raccoons were tearing it all up! They are very responsive and came over the day I called, even though the tech was all the way in Fremont. They are always nice, professional and fun. And, their great with my kids too. They love the big truck with all of the traps and they are sensitive to how we are explaining what is happening to the raccoons after they take them away.

I hope I catch that last one soon!
